New Year greetings…
By James
The last day of 2020 is finally here! To say that it’s been a difficult year would be a great understatement. Who could have guessed that we were going to be tested, challenged, and forever changed in what feels like the longest year ever. We are looking forward to getting a fresh start in 2021.
The Modern Yoga Community
During my isolation I had the opportunity to reflect on many things (probably too many). My thoughts always came back to our community at Modern Yoga. Joyce and I are passionate about teaching and sharing the yoga practice we love. We could not have wished for a more perfect community of teachers, practitioners, teacher trainees, customers, book readers, softball players, bowlers, and friends to open our door to and we are forever grateful to and for you.
Many small businesses owners, us included, have had to deal with a lot of uncertainty and stress during this pandemic. It has not been an easy time for wellness and fitness businesses in 2020. You are helping us weather this unprecedented year. Thank you for believing in us.
Our Donation Class
An example of our community in action is our weekly donation class. This class is the heart of our business. We have donated $26,780 since we opened 4-1/2 years ago. Even in this pandemic, this class continues to make a difference in our community. We raised and gave back over $4,000 in 2020. We are incredibly proud of the kindness and generosity of our community. Not many small business make this kind of impact in their community, and this is exactly what makes the Modern Yoga community so special. This week all donation class proceeds will be given to the Strongsville Emergency Food Bank. Join us!
We are more committed to Modern Yoga more than ever and we are excited about the opportunity to continue to serve you for years to come!
Happy New Year! 2021 is gonna be great!
