Modern Yoga is owned and operated by James Joyce LLC. We run two yoga studios in Northeast Ohio, in Strongsville and Brecksville, along with this website and our online course site at courses.modernyogacle.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what we need to run the studio and serve you well, and we do not sell your information. Ever.
Information We Collect
When you create an account, purchase a class, membership, or workshop, or sign a studio waiver, we collect information like your name, email address, phone number, and billing details. Booking and purchases run through our studio management platform, WellnessLiving. If you shop in our studios, purchase records are tied to your account the same way.
When you browse our website, we collect standard analytics information such as pages visited, device type, and general location. See the Cookies and Analytics section below.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to manage your account and bookings, process payments, send schedule confirmations and reminders, respond to your questions, and let you know about classes, events, and offers when you have opted in to hear from us. We also use aggregate website data to improve how the site works.
Text Messaging (SMS)
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, you consent to receive text messages from Modern Yoga related to your account, class bookings, and studio updates, including one-on-one replies from our staff. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance, or call us at 440-638-4524.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the business and who process it on our behalf: WellnessLiving for scheduling and point of sale, payment processors, email and text message delivery services, and the analytics and advertising platforms described below. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, and advertising tools from Google and Meta to measure our ads and reach people who may be interested in the studio. Data Security and Retention
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, and we keep it only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work with established providers and limit access to those who need it.
Your Choices
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email, opt out of texts by replying STOP, and update your account details anytime in WellnessLiving. You can also contact us to request access to or deletion of your personal information, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Children
Our website and online services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them online. Minors may attend classes with a parent or guardian’s consent and waiver.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
