My goal in teaching at Modern Yoga is to bring encouragement, enlightenment, a bit of power and fun! The feeling of learning and accomplishing something you hadn’t before can be exhilarating! The practice of yoga has taught me that the physical benefits that you get from yoga is just as fulfilling as the mental benefits. You can practice yoga on and off the mat. Learning awareness and mind/body connection has changed my life. Kim is also an avid golfer and has found yoga has helped her in dealing with injuries and improving focus.
I hope to inspire my students to find what yoga means to them.
