Victor Santana
Meet Victor Manuel Santana Jr.! Born and raised in Brunswick Hills, Victor was a proud player of the Brunswick High School Lacrosse team. After graduating, he went on to play at the University of Akron and eventually returned to the Brunswick High School team as their defensive coach while also pursuing a career in automotive sales.
Shortly after, Victor purchased his childhood home where he currently resides with his fiancΓ©e, Samantha Cermack and their two Pomskis, Jax and Opie. βWe are excited to be getting married in October of 2025 in Austin, Texas! Together, Samantha and I thrive on adventures with the doors off our Warangler, exploring new places, playing mini-golf and creating unforgettable memories!β
After spending a decade in sales, Victor decided to follow his passion for yoga. He received his 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification from Modern Yoga in September of 2024 and has been teaching yoga since!
What inspired you to become a yoga teacher?
“My desire to deepen my knowledge of poses, postures, and breathwork. At the time, I was unhappy in my job, so I sought a challenge outside of work to pursue my interests. About a year later, I left my ten-year career in car sales to focus on completing my yoga certification and seeing what else was out there for me. Upon graduating, I discovered that teaching yoga felt nothing like work to me. I had a strong passion for both teaching and enhancing my understanding of yoga. The feeling of sharing what I learned with my students and providing them with a valuable experience was unmatched. There is truly no better feeling than that.”
What is one piece of advice for your students?
“Recognize that each time you come to your mat, you may have a different purpose than before. Some days you might be there for a workout, while other days you might seek meditation or a chance to clear your mind. You may come to challenge yourself, simplify your day, or prepare for what lies ahead. Whatever your reason for practicing, understanding your motivation will help you focus on what you truly need from your practice, and you will find a stronger appreciation for the time you dedicate to it.”
What inspires you to get on your mat and practice?
“The uplifting feeling I experience afterward. No matter how my day begins, by the end of class, I always find my day transformed for the better. I feel centered and accomplished, enabling me to carry that positive energy throughout my day. I understand that if I skip my time on the mat, I will feel the difference later on.”
What’s your favorite asana and why?
“Reclined Saddle Pose. It’s an incredible stretch that simultaneously targets my hips, knees, back, chest, and legs. Additionally, this asana requires me to surrender, find stillness, focus on my breathing, and release a lot of tension. It perfectly balances ease with a rewarding challenge.”
Do you have a favorite yoga related book/podcast?
“One of my favorite yoga books is βBreathing for Warriorsβ by Belisa Vranich and Brian Sabin. It’s an excellent read that focuses primarily on breathwork. I also enjoy listening to podcasts such as the Joe Rogan Experience, Huberman Lab, Found My Fitness, and Becoming the 1% Podcast, especially when they discuss topics related to stretching, yoga, and meditation.”
What is something most people don’t know about you?
“I’m a huge nerd! I’m all about the Marvel and DC universes. I’m obsessed with video games like Zelda, God of War, Mario, Gears of War, Spider-Man, The Last of Us, BioShock, Fallout, Kingdom Hearts, Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, Battlefield, and so many more! Plus, I love watching shows like Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Yellowstone, Cobra Kai, The Office, Schitt’s Creek, Peaky Blinders, and pretty much any superhero series, especially Smallville.”
Fun Fact About Victor!!
“I once was the ball boy for the Cleveland Cavaliers! However, I really had no interest in sports and didn’t even know who was on the team at the time of my hiring.”

What else are you passionate about (outside the studio)?
“I have a deep passion for biohacking, longevity, mental strength, physical fitness, and nutrition — essentially anything that enhances my health and well-being.
Additionally, I enjoy cooking, spending time with loved ones, taking walks with my dogs, trying out new places, playing putt-putt with my fiancΓ©, golfing, and skeet shooting.”
“I’m also very passionate about listening to podcasts. I am intellectually curious and love continuing my education in areas that I am passionate about. My go-to podcasts are :
The Joe Rogan Experience, Modern Wisdom, Keep Hammering Collective, Huberman Lab, Athletic Truth Group, The Ultimate Human Podcast, Modern Yoga Podcast, Found My Fitness, Becoming the 1% Podcast, Paul Saladino Podcast, Tucker Carlson Podcast, and President’s Daily Brief, among others.”
