The Modern Yoga Podcast is about the teachers, classes, and community at Modern Yoga, which are yoga studios located in Strongsville & Brecksville, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. Joyce and her husband James own the studio. Mary Beth has been teaching at Modern Yoga since (almost) the very beginning. The community around our studios is pretty unique. People really like each other and tend to hang out together often. Modern Yoga has a book club, softball teams, and bowling teams among other off-the-mat activities. Listen in for a fun and interesting spin on what yoga means to us!

The journey that you take us on in the pod cast is similar to a kaleidoscope… Scripted with bullet points but from there it’s spirals. The topics are engaging be it poses, mental health, the language of yoga. Lot’s of learning points in each episode. I found it helpful to have my computer open when you were discussing the Yama’s and the 8 limbs. Thanks for offering another great service to your ever growing and evolving yoga business and community. First recommendation ~ maybe throw out the books name or author when you reference them in the episodes.
I listen to your podcast every morning as I walk my dog. I was laughing hysterically listening to Suzi tell the story about Myles talking back to his father.
When you started your series on grief I thought “oh boy, do I have a grief story”. My father died when I was 7, rather tragically, and my mother had 5 children all under the age of 12. The repercussions of that kind of journey are significant. But then I heard Suzi and Vince’s story …. Thank you for sharing.
Maybe we should talk about that!!!!
