“Everyone’s yoga journey is different. Mine started my first semester in college when I needed to fulfill a PE credit and was never a fan of gym class. I quickly fell in love with the yoga philosophy and the way I felt both physically and mentally after class.
I fell in and out of my hatha practice throughout the years, trying different styles of yoga and joining new studios. When I started at Modern Yoga, I found an amazing yoga community and I knew from that point on yoga philosophy and vinyasa yoga would play a big part in my life.”
You will start by learning about the anatomy of your pelvis, it’s function and how to help it heal – especially after birth. Amy and Jenny will show you yoga poses that are helpful in supporting your new body as well as ways to modify different yoga poses to make it work for you. Abdominal recovery, posture and motherhood, and what that means for you will also be discussed. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about and care for yourself. See you on your mat at Modern Yoga on Sunday September 19th from 2-4pm.
